Increasingly I feel like I favor furry because it espouses the idea that humans, for all our mastery over nature, are still animals. We need to nap and wander and frolic and utter strange noises. It is good for us to be weird little guys, which is something society is so committed to stripping away.

i ended up removing the post i made about my cat's vet bill, i think i'll be able to handle it. i just panicked a little bit but there are other people who need help more than me. she's doing ok btw, really hates her cone but she'll be fine
