I am super dense. The frequency of my moderate and severe #migraine attacks has gone up about 50% because a loved one has developed bad depression. It took me weeks to figure this out. My level of denial cracks me up sometimes. 😅

Just like a river, which may flow gently and at other times surge into turbulent rapids, migraine can shift from manageable or barely noticeable to overwhelmingly severe without warning. Calm, strength, struggle, and change are all natural parts of the journey. Where are you?

There are some young local Drs who might be good for my spine surgery. It's hard for me to trust anyone without a lot of experience though. It's an uncommon surgery. And there is so much they can screw up. Removal of old hardware. Restructure of almost my whole spine. So many screws. 😭 #scoliosis

Rubbish week. Fluffernutter was diagnosed with pancreatitis as well. She's not near as sick as a cat we had in the past with it, but I've known two people who lost their cats to it so I'm freaked out. It's hard seeing her sick. My birthday is tomorrow. I normally love it but not this year.

The spine surgeon thing sucks so much. All the good Drs are in big cities. It would be so expensive for my husband and I to go there for 2 weeks for my surgery. Then go back for follow up. Even with hospital affiliated discounted hotels. I hate this.

Dang it. Went to see my spine surgeon today to start the process for surgery. He's one of the best in the country for what I need done. He said he's moving to NYC. Now I have to figure out if I want to follow him.

I had 13 moderate and severe migraine attacks in Sept, 19 in Oct. That's a heck of an increase. Ouch! It usually increases some in Nov, but never in Oct. Not a fan. #Migraine

I finally got to 4000 steps yesterday! It's taken forever to get there but I'm excited. Was able to do 15 min of upright exercise as well. Yay, me! #Pots

I take a mig attack med for that makes me sleepy. In the morning, I take it with coffee so I don't sleep for several hours. I never know what to do when the med wears off and the pain returns with a vengeance. Do I drink more coffee and take another, or suffer? 🤔 Opinions? #MigraineChat

Weird development with my Truvaga Plus. I charged up an old phone (8 yr old) of my husband's and the Truvaga works! The problem must be related to the new Bluetooth version (since Truvaga will not connect with my newer phone or tablet).

Have said this in my head several times this morning. Holy moly, it hurts despite 2 meds taken. Migraine attacks are something else sometimes.
I wonder how many times a week I exclaim, "my fucking head!" 🤔
