Important to understand the Epstein stuff and the fascism and the corruption are, in a lot of ways, really all the same story from different angles: powerful men who can and do abuse vulnerable people around them because they can, and because systems of elite accountability catastrophically failed

Trump: "I want the money to go into an account for people where they buy their own health insurance. It's so good. The insurance will be better. It'll cost less. Everybody is gonna be happy. They're gonna feel like entrepreneurs. They're actually able to go out & negotiate their own insurance"

If it weren't impacting real people in real life, it would be absolutely hilarious for anyone to believe that the ACA subsidies are going to be brought up to a vote.

Austin’s Prop Q, approving a property tax increase for a variety of things, doesn’t look like it’ll pass based on the about half of the votes cast. IMO, too much loose spending by the city lately & too bleak of an economic outlook for people to feel great about this. #atx

That's not how facts work.
LEAVITT: It's absolutely true that there's fraud in California's elections

Q: What's the evidence of that?

Reminder: Just because you dislike the results of an election does not mean the election was rigged, invalid, or any of those things. Need actual evidence. #uspol

I'm married into a Mexican family. Any adult who is your parents age or older in the family is a tio/tia by default.

Our kids call our other kids' Godparents tio/tia.

Everyone in the family around the same age is a cousin.

Throwing red flags about a cousin being called an aunt is pearl-clutching.
I'm Filipino.

I have a LOT of aunts and uncles (titas and titos), the vast majority of whom are NOT my biological aunts or uncles.

It's a term of respect.
