99 hours later, I'm finished with Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
I can't believe the scope of it - the depth of its character missions, how many of its minigames could stand on their own, how all the pieces click and interact, the world and sound design.

After completely mopping the floor with the Premier League and changing football for the worse forever, and on a night one of their overseas outposts won a league, Manchester City people still feel like the world owes them something. So embarrassing.

Well that was a gut punch. Not the missed opportunity so much as the experience.
Thought Zizou and Arzani played well enough to give us a sniff but Valadon wasn't the glue guy he's been, Bos was a disaster and most of them just seemed half-asleep.

Copping the City Loop after going through your own line on the V/Line after midnight a fittingly soul-crushing conclusion to tonight's proceedings.

Crystal Palace winning the FA Cup one of those reminders that football can be Good and it's worth persevering - so much more heartfelt and interesting than another Big Club throwing it on the pile of silverware. I'm drinking in everything about it.

Impossible to overstate Antony Green's contribution to politics. Nation building shit. Leaves a very large gap of knowledge, charisma and trust to fill.

The conservative scaremongering has gone up a few notches this weekend, hasn't it?
Real end of days shit. Not sure I've seen dogwhistling this brazen here before.

I’ve just sent the following email to the Melbourne Victory Football Club in response to their handling of the Pride Cup on Saturday. I also CCd Caroline Carnegie.

I am very glad that Diles spoke about the importance of the pride match, saying that football is for everybody.
It would've been very easy for him to avoid the question, but he didn't.

Nish is a monster. Saw some of the very best of Machach and Arzani when it mattered most. Kids in the North Terrace were great. Fuck homophobes. Cheers.

Embarrassing but not at all unexpected that so many Victory fans either haven't shown up or continue to complain over what's still a pretty watered down pass at inclusivity.

I find I just have to shut out stories like this American influencer and the baby wombat or I won't cope - it feels more and more like most people just don't understand what it is to be around, to handle or to own an animal.

I'm sorry but the first week of March is way too early for footy that counts for anything.

It's one thing to get caught napping in defensive transition but it's astonishing how often Victory players are getting mugged in possession. It's even spread to Ryan Teague.
