It's definitely got a bit of Ubigame about it, and it gets in its own way (the alternate timelines were just an obstacle really) but I feel like it should be a phenomenon in this community and it's just ... another title. Such are the times I suppose.

I don't know how you can front up earnestly as a beat writer for that organisation and pretend it's anything other than product. You can have your trophies but you can't force people to respect them.

You'd imagine Melbourne City capable of putting on a better spectacle than that given their resources. As cynical as it gets. Burn the tapes stuff as were the last two meetings.

Immigration ("out of control" population growth) along with crime, but it was the presentation that made me gasp - four-way split screens of non-white people, busy city centres, burning stores and cars.
The "we can't afford three more years of this" stuff is still going strong on a separate TVC.

As for the North Terrace, clearer than ever all this shit has always been all about a small crew of fucken losers. That photo of them hanging over the fence in Shep is among the saddest things I've ever seen.

On other platforms I'm seeing people say they "don't want to have to explain it to their kids" - explain what? That people (who may be) unlike them exist and are worthy of respect? It's absolutely abhorrent even when it's not outright homophobia.
