A few hours ago the msm unquestioningly repeated the White House spin that Trump had changed his “tone.”

It's so weird being black in this space for this and many other reasons.
I missed the networking discourse, did anyone talk about the fact that during BLM Black creators and academics were reached out to in record numbers and then when we thought we had solidarity it vanished? Which led to many folks suffering representational burn out and distrust for ttrpgs as a whole?

Networking is a social skill that has different rules and meanings in cultural contexts. During BLM many Black folks were basically mined for their experience, and the connections made were not always genuine even if they came from initially good ideas. Black creators were not seen as individuals.
