She/her, Oregon, USA. White cubicle drone scraping by learning ASL.

I try to add image descriptions sometimes. Correct me if one is wrong. If you want zoo & aquarium pics/video, that's nearly 100% of my Media tab.

Why is glacial ice blue?
Is this where Ty-D-Bowl cleaner ends up?

The answer is not so much what's IN it, but what's NOT in it: air bubbles.

Blue glacial ice is compressed under pressure for long periods of time, until gas bubbles are removed, allowing larger, more interconnected crystals.

In a rare event these days, the cost of a repeat scrip has dropped for us, from $23 to $16. That is because our local PHO went from doctor-owned to corporate to Maori health trust. Tui Ora are succeeding in providing services where corporate couldn't even get a doctor in place.

#artAdventCalendar Day 9: 2017 had me exploring custom sculpture. I was trying to find a cute, paintable style and didn't know resin casting yet, so I made each individually. I did a lot of these chubby cheek duckies that year. These are my faves.❤️

I got one for you: Wildwood Down.

Point-and-click adventure set in Wildwood NJ, starring a character with Down syndrome, who is voiced by the real-life inspiration for the character.

Neat little game, with some very unexpected tributes to other games.

The beady little eyes and the round pink nose of these creatures is endlessly charming.
Exploring with Ozzy!

Since moving into his new Small Animal Kingdom home earlier this fall, our prehensile-tailed porcupine has found favorite spots to sleep, eat, exercise, and relax.

Image: 'centaur' trotting along, carrying a bow and arrows. Where human torso would meet horse body, instead this creature's other half is the shape of a big headless human on all fours. (Mercifully, it's got a loincloth.)

Her mom, Sunshine, is so much taller that the baby's head only comes up to Sunshine's chest.
