In my experience, being truly seen and understood by another person creates a high that’s hard to forget. You’ll chase that feeling in every subsequent connection, even when you know better bc it’s rare that that feeling can be replicated.

Marvel/Superhero movie burnout is not valid criticism. If you are tired of superhero movies, stop going to see them expecting them to change your opinion on the subject, then complaining online about how "bad" it is when it doesn't connect with you. That's not how burnout works.
