We took our parents (Momma Zo! and Tall Black Guy’s Pops) to the studio in Sept of last year so that they could be there while we record strings for our album (with our fellow Detroit brethren, Pirahnahead). They were locked IN.
Easily a top memory of 2025.

I grew up in a VERY conservative household.
There was never ANY need for Republicans to "earn" votes, because patriots who loved America and God voted against evil liberals.
So I don't know who taught the left that votes need to be earned.
But I do know the RNC paid them handsomely for it.

The left attacks create a permission structure for non-voters. “Eh, they’re all the same anyway.” Same thing happened in 2000. It contributes to the miasmatic discontent with candidates that drives low-info voters to make terrible choices.
At least half of Stein's votes weren't gettable, they were gonna go third party regardless. So that's not enough. And non-voters are overwhelmingly people who are less engaged in politics, they aren't ideological hardliners abstaining for that reason in any substantial numbers.

2) UK tearing apart trans rights under a centrist/liberal gov.
3) Blue state govs refusing to enforce trans protections.
