Last year, one of my HS bullies found me on the internet and called me to apologize to me

He was in the military, and now is a park ranger. He’s married with a teenage son. He’s trying to instill good values, which made him reflect on how he acted at that age
I have looked up some of the people who bullied me when I was a kid (the ones with googleable names that I remember) and they are doing EXACTLY what you think they'd be doing.

Like, owning car dealership kind of thing.

Grey’s Anatomy is basically the same age as ICE.
semi-regular reminder that ICE was only created in 2003

when you are asked to imagine a world without ICE, you're basically being asked to remember where you were when Lilo & Stitch came out

Worth reading:
Watching doc about resilience that reaffirms many changes I made last few years to my mental outlook (I read a LOT of brain books). Brains are hallucination engines. If the story is the world is shit, everything is fucked, brain reframes every interaction this way. It impacts behavior; shuts us down

Thousands singing “Hey-Oh, we won’t be silent while our friends are gunned down.”

Really listen to it.
