This cannot be reformed.

It is a paramilitary force sent by Trump and led by DHS Secretary Noem, occupying American cities and levying war on the American people.

Impeachment is the beginning of accountability.

This is better than nothing. Good fucking riddance to the micro nazi. Let's hope Noem and Miller are next. Keep calling your politicians. They are clearly feeling the pressure.

Two incidents tied to federal immigration enforcement at churches on opposite sides of the country are raising renewed questions about whether federal law is being applied consistently, or selectively, when religious worship is disrupted.

They aren’t backing down. They’re just threatening people in other cities. Still illegal. Still unconstitutional. Even if they haven’t yet backed it up by shooting someone in the face.
ICE is changing tactics in Maine: "Now, the volunteers in Maine say federal agents have started showing up at their homes and intimidating them or threatening arrest. Some of them, masked and wearing tactical gear, have issued stark warnings not to follow them." www.pressherald.com/2026/01/23/i...

To combat bird flu spread, other countries have authorized poultry vaccines. The U.S. hasn’t, amid political and economic pushback.

Without a vaccine, experts say the virus poses an escalating threat: “The minute it transmits to humans, it’s done.”

What the U.S. Government Is Dismissing That Could Seed a Bird Flu Pandemic

This was just me making this comparison yesterday, but today the Korean news is calling Minnesota "America's Gwangju" and have human rights lawyers explaining how America is now living through the dictatorship Korea once had.
The Chun regime that my wife fought against in the 80s did the exact same thing. They needed a "crisis" that "only they could solve" to hoard more ill-gotten power, so they chose one city (Gwangju), declared its inhabitants enemies, sent trucks full of soldiers to violently attack and kill them.

The National Guard is still patrolling DC, carrying handguns & long rifles, patrolling vibrant community spaces in packs to intimidate residents, especially Black residents, of the city.

Keep that in mind as you see the videos of them handing out pizza & coffee in MN.

There’s no way a party that has masked government agents in major cities rounding up anyone who looks Latino or African and throwing them in prison camps while shooting people who get in their way can win free and fair elections.

Malfeasance is their only option. We should expect shenanigans.

And they want us too afraid to continue observing & recording and protesting.
Chris Murphy: "This is really scary because what Bovino essentially told you is that if you just happen to be present when they are undertaking an operation, if you pull out your phone to record it, the use of force against you is justified. That is not true, it's not what the law says."

It’s also striking in the video how many of the agents jumped back after the first shot was fired. This suggests they were surprised, which means they had no reason to believe lethal force was necessary. Their own body language tells the story.

Like, the DHS story about what happened with today’s shooting is physically impossible. And I don’t mean you need to look at subtleties like where were the feet and tires. I mean there were upwards of five people holding this person down, assaulting him. He was not in a position to shoot anyone.

To those blaming Walz for not mobilizing the Guard, he did that six days ago. I have to say it's disturbing to see people angry at Walz instead of the government agents that just executed a man. As though we should all be experts about what to do when a secret police force invades an American city.
