I think it clicked. You never see the Imperium of Space King losing. What makes 40k good satire of militaristic theocracy is that for all the propaganda, for all the superweapons and backwards dogma, the imperium is visibly rotting. Space king is just the violent power fantasy part with no depth.
Space King hurts me because I swear there's a funny show trapped in that mess. Like they kind of nailed the absurd backwardsness of the imperium and inherent contradictions of shitty space marine fans but also they don't know how to write jokes so it's just slurs and murder

Past few days I got hit on discord with age verification prompt despite not being a resident of UK/Aus.
It appears it's currently worldwide, done at random, not all users receive it, and - for now - it's limited to the desktop app. Editing preference options is locked until I surrender my id.

I was doing a full house renovation and popping up tile at the time with a hammer and chisel. The hammer bounced back hard, and the nail puller end jammed into my knee, I still have a limp to this day.
What's the most ridiculous way you ever hurt yourself? I got out of the tub, skidded in water and tripped over the toilet. Ankle sprain.

This is probably gonna sound crazy coming from me, BUT my biggest Fallout hot take is that I dislike how Warhammer-esque the Brotherhood of Steel is like in modern Fallout.
They honestly are such jerks to people they make (most) actual fucking SPACE MARINES look like kind people.
