Earlier this year, the City Council, led by @keithpowersnyc.bsky.social and @ebottcher.bsky.social, passed a legislative package that provides a strong foundation to get scaffolding down and improve safety and design.

But Mayor Adams has barely put it to use.

We gathered on 34th & Broadway, with a backdrop of buses crawling along, stuck in midtown traffic.
