Somewhere in America, there is a little girl.

Maybe she's Somali, maybe she's Latin American. But she's being held for her own safety somewhere in secret, by kind people trying to protect her from those who might be knocking at the door.

And she's writing in her diary to try and make sense of it.

If all these rich men "regret" their time with Epstein then why didn't they announce prior to the release of the files that their names would be part of the collection? Why didn't they self-report? The answer is they are not sorry and have no regret. They are sorry and regret they got caught.

Oi Hollywood/BBC/Netflix/etc, we still haven't got that big budget 10 hour long episodes historically accurate tv drama series about the Black Death.
Only one of the biggest most dramatic events in history ever...
Come on, do your thing.
Must have Sean Bean in it though.

“Everyone involved pretends they had absolutely no idea.” Ian Hislop, Private Eye’s editor, appeared on Tonight with Andrew Marr to discuss the Epstein files, and the cover the Eye ran in reference to the paedophile sex trafficker all the way back in 2011.

I vote that my favourite Shakespearean insult return to common parlence:

king's son! If I do not beat thee out of thy
kingdom with a dagger of lath, and drive all thy
subjects afore thee like a flock of wild-geese,
I'll never wear hair on my face more. You Prince of Wales!

The reintroduction of beavers to London has been a huge success.

The prospect of elk returning to Britain shows what’s possible when we give nature the space and support it needs.
Project aiming to return elk to UK moves forward

I have always been convinced that he intended for April from IT Crowd to be played by a cis man, probably with a full beard.

It gives me joy that they went against that tired trope... and that it proved to be so beloved by the public when it was aired, before the right fostered tans panic at scale

One lesson from the Epstein–Mandelson affair is that we need to stop routinely rehabilitating political careers after serious scandals.

When politicians knowingly engage in grave ethical wrongdoing, that should permanently end their political careers. Being "talented" should not override that.

FFS Britain, get it together!
Oil-rich Saudi Arabia as a battery storage powerhouse? Never going to happen many have thought.

Yet new data shows Saudi Arabia has gone from zero grid-scale batteries in 2024 to one of the world’s top deployers in 2025, adding almost 3 GW in a single year and commissioning a 7.8 GWh mega-project.

I cancelled my BBC licence in 2015 because I was so disgusted by their Brexit coverage (not surprised to find Epstein's slimy fingerprints all over that political decision) but we must not throw out the baby with the bath water.

Without the BBC, we'd risk becoming America.

GBNews wants that
