I'm looking for witnesses/victims of DHS retaliating against people who were recording their agents (ICE, Border Patrol, FPS, etc.) in Southern California.

This is for LA Press Club v. Noem case, but victim does NOT need to be press/journalist. Everyone has right to record. We're fighting for all.

🚨HOLY CRAP. An ICE whistleblower just revealed a secret memo authorizing ICE officers to break into homes without a judicial warrant, which DHS's own legal training materials say is unconstitutional!

ICE then hid the memo from the public, passing it along by word of mouth and private conversation.

When I called my rep @replsimon.bsky.social @lateefahsimon.bsky.social about ICE last week, her staffer endorsed reform measures but conspicuously avoided the word “abolish.“ (I don’t even remember the staffer‘s saying “defund.“) Please demand ICE‘s abolition, @replsimon.bsky.social.
It's always been abolish ICE.

For the first time, more Americans support abolishing ICE than oppose it. But Republicans are proposing hundreds of millions in funding for this lawless agency.

I'll oppose this bill. We cannot give more money to an agency responsible for terrorizing our communities.

If ICE’s expansion plans are realized, the immigration detention system will triple in size — detaining 120,000-150,000 people at any given time, mirroring the scale of Japanese American internment during WWII."

"This funding makes ICE the largest law enforcement agency in the country, with a bigger budget than the Bureau of Prisons, FBI, and most militaries in the world.

This is what happened in our neighborhood yesterday. ICE snatched a human being off of our streets, roughed them up badly, and then pepper sprayed legal observers as they documented it all. This is a daily occurrence happening all throughout Minnesota right now.

I am begging people to just imagine for a second talking as if the lives of the people in Greenland are an important part of what is happening in Greenland.
We are watching one of the wildest things a nation-state has ever done: A superpower is committing suicide because the GOP Congress is too cowardly to stand up to the Mad King.

This is one of the wildest moments in all of geopolitics ever.
Footage shows Danish troops arriving in Greenland as part of a new military deployment. Among the personnel who landed on the island is Major General Peter H. Boysen, Chief of the Danish Army Command. #Greenland

Cory Booker should apologize for his "proposal" re: ICE. That would be a good example of self-accountability. Apologize and explain to your constituents WHY your proposal makes no sense at all.

Covid should have killed the in-person academic conference for good—the viral vector, the pollution, the waste, the elite access for the well-resourced, the exclusion of the less well-resourced and those from certain countries who need visas…

Maybe Trumpism can kill it once and for all.
If you’re in the planning stages of a conference intended to take place in the US…move it. Don’t do it.

ICE agents love to wave around paper that looks official. Most of it is a scam — administrative forms signed by ICE supervisors, not real judicial warrants signed by judges. Let's go through what that scam paper looks like versus a real judicial warrant.
