Australia's mainstream media is obsessed with the colour and movement of conflict.

As 'both sides' support #AUKUS, they have failed to investigate whether it might be a huge, wasteful and dangerous dud 'deal'.

Our media rarely 'speak truth to power'.
They parrot power's talking points.

Can the media reporting on news that the US agrees it is “worth continuing” with AUKUS, stop pretending that it’s some sort of big surprise that Trump agrees it’s worth taking our billions of taxpayer dollars for second rate submarines they don’t even have to provide?🙄

Are there measures other than industry-devised ones that measure & characterise water & energy use of data centres? Could a future article tackle this?
"Amazon is also engineering industry standards to downplay its water use and avert scrutiny, said Nathan Wangusi, a former water sustainability manager at the company.

Vic people need to stop voting in these authoritarian, neo-liberal corporate stooges.

Australia’s selective justice on international law is indefensible
Australia has pledged to uphold humanitarian law and protect aid workers. But in the face of an ICJ ruling on Gaza, its own anti-terror and accountability laws remain selectively unenforced.

If the Venezuelan sailors weren’t enemy combatants, then both strikes are criminal murder.
