Still hopeful but disappointed cat lady. Distrusting of most people so don't bother following if you're a bot or a very bad person

Remember: If we allow ourselves to fall into fatalism, or wallow in disappointment, or become resigned to what is rather than what should be, we will lose the long game.

The greatest enemy of positive social change is cynicism about what can be changed.

That little rat Chris Mason is just trying to stir trouble up for the Government, insinuating all sorts of stuff. He is not reporting, he is speculating with clear ulterior motive. He is as bad as any daily rag. NB Not a Labour voter & yes I am disappointed in Starmer. But disgusted with the rat 😡

Here's a few figures off the top of my head so could be slightly wrong:
Number of refugees in exhotels down from tory High of 56.000 to 32.000.
Number of hotels used has halved.
August 2025 had the lowest number of crossings for that month since 2021.

You really do hate to think of what the world would look like without pissing unimaginable amounts of money away on cops & troops.
I enjoyed this. And what an infectious laugh. ❤️

Labour promised 1,000 more GPs this year.

Labour have delivered double that.

2,000 new GPs hired

delivering millions more appointments

making sure the NHS is there for everyone, whenever they need it.

So. On a very good day for Labour with 25 people smugglers and profiteers from misery sanctioned and the hospice movement generously boosted there seems no hint of any credit , just the usual hate posts. What a state the population has become . Relentless negativity.

Been a full on week for Labour. I’ve gathered just a few highlights. Most important in my view, is Mone. Being held accountable for her failed PPE supply. I hope we get our money back. Daylight robbery under Labour does not pay

Incredibly concerned to see the forcible interception of the Madleen in international waters, and thinking of all those who were on board and have been detained. UK must condemn this breach of international law and immediately demand their release.
