States should still heed this as a sobering wake up call and move to undo same-sex marriage bans in their constitutions and/or formally legalize it by their legislatures. We were lucky this time, but nobody knows what the future might bring.

Just thinking about the people, in the early months of this administration, who insisted "mass deportations" were a losing issue for Democrats.

I don't think anything radicalized me as much as realizing taxes are purposefully kept difficult so that one company can make a profit on software
TurboTax is about to be integrated into ChatGPT, where customers will be guided through tasks tied to their tax filings or financial profile by the AI chatbot.

TurboTax owner Intuit is also paying OpenAI more than $100 million a year to power AI agents.

Trump’s White House leaned on DHS to help accused sex trafficker Andrew Tate get his seized devices back. A Trump aide who once joked about having a “Nazi streak” pressed agents to hand evidence to an alleged predator. This isn’t law and order — it’s the sexual predator protection program.

it is almost as if accommodating and conceding to far right ideas legitimizes them and signals to voters that the far right is a legitimate choice for governance
