Roger Corman recycled the effects and score from another space movie, and then got the writer of Deathstalker and 11 episodes of Care Bears to write and direct it. It's SPACE RAIDERS and it will be one of four films for The RiffTrax Experiments

My nose ring got caught on Zuzu’s collar (she was trying to get under me while I was doing yoga) & yeah it was about as fun as you’d expect
It didn’t get ripped out but my nose is bleeding & will be sore for a good bit 😩

I spent nearly all day getting lab work and a physical done, not bc either was particularly time-consuming but bc bureaucracy decided it was going to be more ridiculous than normal

Talent has actually made me quit certain things bc I wasn’t immediately an expert at it & same: I had no idea how to practice instead of just Create Masterpiece & have spent the last five years fixing that
Still a perfectionist but I have gotten better

In my experience, talent is a *detriment* to learning.
I didn't have to practice early on so I *didn't know how*. I didn't start to learn how to practice until my 30s! (When much of my life was taken up with parenting, so I didn't have time!)

I officially started using Scrivener again & now that I like KNOW how to use the damn thing, I'm really appreciating it. It's still going to take some time to get used to, seeing as I've been using Proton Drive for a while, but things are looking up for Paradiso
