It’s the “season of love and giving”…but this year, doesn’t it seem more like a “season of fear and taking”? Like many of you, I’ve been saddened by the human impact of draconian government budget cuts and how angry many housed Americans are at unhoused Americans.

I was thinking a similar build across the road from the old Circus Bar had a smoke alarm go off from smoky cooking a decade ago… then flipped through the pics and went holy god… that’s grotesque

For reference: 2023 Michigan Big 10 Championship win was 26-0 against Iowa. 2025 gives us a proper battle comparatively. Nothing terribly clean here

An apparent copy of the storm I posted about roughly a month ago… this time with higher winds, ice, and snow. Waves have also been modeled (NOAA Wave Watch 3 pictured in the map layer) and observed both by instrument and folks on the ground.

My read of this is that while the #DOGE damage assessment is still yet to be completed, there are parts of our government that are quite strong and resilient. It’s also a call to remain vigilant. I believe Test Driven Dictatorship is a thing. Make them fail. arstechnica.com/tech-policy/...
