Fox announced a massive new podcast on the life of Jesus starring Kristen Bell as the voice of Mary Magdalene.

Bell was blindsided by the announcement saying she recorded the audio for a separate project 15 years ago.
Kristen Bell Is the Star of a New Jesus Podcast From Fox. No One Told Her
Fox's new Jesus podcast features Kristen Bell as the voice of Mary Magdalene. Bell, however, recorded the audio 15 years ago for a different project.

Am I missing something? Doesn't the video say that service members should not follow ILLEGAL orders?
Q: Trump accused Democrats of seditious behavior punishable by death. Does the president want to execute members of Congress?

LEAVITT: No

New nepo baby just dropped
NEW: For weeks, a mysterious figure was embedded in the Pelicans' inner circle. The team now confirms Jordan Dumars, son of EVP Joe Dumars, is a "Basketball Operations Consultant."

My story on the opaque power structure in NOLA:

The Pelicans' New Basketball Operations Consultant
As Troy Weaver runs day-to-day operations, the unexplained involvement of Joe Dumars' son adds a new layer of ambiguity to the team's chain of command

I forget which late night host (maybe Jon Stewart?) said it, but the joke was that FDR wasn't that great because he started the podcast movement. LOL.

I don't know who Murphy is, but his/her/their beds are extremely space saving. This is my new WFH space, and I can just lower the bed for a nap 😅

This will be extremely disruptive for the students at this late date, but it's probably the right decision.

Huge @tinanguyen.bsky.social scoop: Trump is preparing to try and ban all state AI laws, going so far as having Brendan Carr’s FCC pull rural broadband funds from states that try to regulate AI www.theverge.com/ai-artificia...
Here’s the Trump executive order that would ban state AI laws
Trump is launching an all-out broadside against states with strict AI regulations.

Have we created a new sub-genre; a fork of the Quit Lit genre that we could call Almost Quit Lit?

If I was a software company, I would:
1. Think long and hard about whether I truly needed any AI integration; not give in to FOMO and isomorphism, and
2. Make any AI integration opt IN
Not satisfied with just destroying their own brand goodwill, OS companies are now using AI to try to destroy the good names of the apps users install. (Scrivener taking out adds to explain how it has no AI but Apple adds some anyway.)

I grew up eating white bread, red delicious apples, drinking skim milk, and the only soda I was allowed to have was caffeine-free. Caffeine was a drug to be avoided at all costs according to my parents. I was privileged in many ways, but not by way of depth of flavor or energy.
I’m really here for any and all apple discussions. Loved when @tressiemcphd.bsky.social discussed the downfall of the honeycrisp. I guess they are just “mid” now (as the youth say).
