DOJ is arguing that there are citizens (non-residents) who are not eligible for a benefit (in state tuition) so undocumented students (regardless of where they live) should not be able to get that benefit either.

I think what that law is trying to prevent is something like a special rate for undocumented people that no other citizen is eligible for. But, I have to look into it more.

I interpret that law as saying that undocumented immigrants can't get special/unique benefits. That's not what's happening here.

I have been shouting this from the rooftops. I don't understand why any company/organization would think that what we want by way of customer service is anything automated. It's a complete turnoff to me.
