I've already talked a bit about Girl Frame and will absolutely be doing so more, so I can't recommend this strongly enough on that game's inclusion alone!
It's very tempting, in general, to want to *explain* everything in some way. Or at least to have an explanation in the chamber for if you happen to need it.
And while this is *sometimes* good, I think it's important to ask yourself if it's actually making your Weird Shit™ more interesting!

Strange events are bound to happen in virtually every setting, but the biggest trick with those events is to never have a clear answer as to *why* it's happened.
My favorite example of that is the Green Rain in Stardew Valley. 🧵

I remember when I put out an application form for a virtual con I was directing and putting it on Twitter meant it got immediately swamped with a couple thousand bot responses before I shut down responses and deleted the post off Twitter.
