Trump’s speech at the World Economic Forum is completely deranged.

It’s hard to fully convey how psychotic this speech is.

Just one example is that he just claimed that that the 2020 election was rigged, and said that people involved are going to be prosecuted for it.

Attn news commentators: Trump saying he could use force to obtain Greenland but won’t is not Trump saying he won’t use force to obtain Greenland. It is Trump using force as a threat to obtain Greenland. That is why he mentions it.

NEW: Trump says America was “stupid” to give Greenland back to Denmark after defending it in World War II.

He accuses Denmark of being “ungrateful”.

I didn't vote for this shit either but that's not how "countries" and "civilization" work. It sucks, but we're gonna be pariahs and we will be suffering just as much as every civilian in every nation we've ever put sanctions on or boycotted or anything else.
This man is talking about stealing a country at gunpoint from nations the US is allied with. Of course Europeans hate us. You would feel the same way if you were in their place. American voters put this man in power, he didn’t seize it this time.

To mark the occasion, I took a look back at what I was thinking and writing about a year ago. The most surprising takeaway is how predictable this last year we have lived through was from the outset.
