The worry with Epstein stuff is that we find it easy to direct our hatred at an individual, but struggle when guilt is dispersed, murky, and uneven. An elite class comprising a complex network of nodes of power and super wealth with institutional immunity from consequence is too big to comprehend.

I would say a "outsourcing key public services to the private sector then getting jobs on company boards" expert

I well remember PFI at Oxford University NHS Trust. One build was delivered 7 years late. A roofing contractor once asked for £12,000 to investigate a roof leak it did not believe was its fault. Planning meetings were packed with people and went on for hours. Racketeering.
🏥 Hospitals built with PFI were found to be 70% more expensive than public builds.

Private partnerships were costly and ineffective last time — saddling the NHS with decades of debt.

So why bring them back… and who really benefits? 👀
