The new law makes changes to the NJ Family Leave Act to provide job-protected unpaid family leave to employees who work for an employer with at least 15 employees; have been employed for that employer for at least 3 months; and have worked at least 250 hours for that employer prior to taking leave.

This pantry in Orange, NJ. usually feeds 700+ families. Yesterday, it was heartbreakingly quiet. The rumors alone of ICE raids just a few blocks away have kept families from showing up for food they desperately need.
