NJCA is strongly opposed to a bill that would force NJ residents to pay higher electric bills for a nuclear plant long before it ever produces power, and we're urging lawmakers to reject it.

At our press conference, BIPOC childcare providers & parents shared why affordable, accessible childcare is essential. With a $30M shortfall leaving families without support, NJ must urgently invest in childcare. Thank you @SenMTeresaRuiz, @AsmAngelaMcK & @SenBTimberlake for fighting to fix this.

Lawmakers could have addressed this issue a long time ago but chose to overlook it. We'd have preferred there to be no lawsuits, but this practice of auto insurance rates being tied to insurers' education and occupation is blatantly discriminatory and needs to change.
