Reporter: “Are you committed to releasing the full video?”

Trump: “Didn't I just tell you that?”

Reporter: “You said that it was up to Sec. Hegseth.”

Trump: “You are the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place…You are an obnoxious, actually a terrible reporter.”

Reporter: You said he would have no problem with releasing the full video of that strike on September 2nd

Trump: I didn’t say that. This is ABC fake news. Whatever Hegseth decides is ok with me… Let me just tell you, you are an obnoxious reporter. Actually, a terrible reporter.

No one is surprised by this...

trump assumes people have the memory capacity he does.
Trump is backpedaling on his support for the release of the Sept. 2 boat strike video.

On December 3, he said he would have "no problem" releasing the video.

Today, he said he "didn't say that" (he did) and now says, "whatever Hegseth wants to do is OK with me."

There’s no ambiguity anymore. Independent investigators revealed Hegseth endangered servicemembers’ lives.

How is this man still in a job he’s dangerously bad at?

Early in the Iraq war, IRG members surrendered without a shot being fired because they believed they'd be better treated as our prisoner than they were by their own country.

Abu Gharib changed that. They started fighting instead.

The result? More dead IRG members, coalition forces, and civilians.
other than the obvious moral reasons why the US should not execute surrendering smugglers at sea, i suspect sending the message “we will still kill you if you surrender” means fewer people will surrender
