Hamilton's (and the new nation's) worst fears have been realized.
What will we do about it?

I would also add that Trump has pulled lots and lots of federal agents normally tasked with investigating serious crimes off those duties to do immigration enforcement with ICE. bsky.app/profile/atru...

the entire thing is a spectacle based on a professional provacateur who comically gut put in charge of CBS news interviewing the bereaved wife of a far right political rabble rouser. No big mystery why adverts are squeamish. anyone w a media background says no shit
Major advertisers appeared to sit out a new CBS News town hall telecast Saturday, moderated by Bari Weiss and featuring an interview with Erika Kirk.

Lack of Madison Avenue support could challenge the viability of the format, which Weiss wants to expand

The Trump administration has hinted they will send ICE and national guardsmen to the polls next November. I hope Governors and Mayors are prepared to send local police officers to protect voters and poll workers and ensure that there is no voter intimidation.
Several Federal Court Rulings Have Already Clarified That Any ICE Agent Attempting To Detain Anyone Is REQUIRED TO HAVE A BENCH WARRANT FROM THE LOCAL FEDERAL JUDGE, And Without Said Warrant, Their Actions Can't Be Charged As KIDNAPPING... Local Law Enforcement Better Start Doing Their Jobs.
