I definitely think a few things need to change in the CFP. But while it’s fun for fans to argue, institutional leaders need to stop acting like victims, & start taking responsibility for what they control, as Vanderbilt has done.

Birthright citizenship is good policy - the arguments that it’s not all seem either race stuff or the unfairness that other people have to wait.

A good draw for the US. But in many ways the stakes are higher: with a bigger field. U.S. has to play 1 more match to make it to the Round of 16, & losing there would be disappointingly stale, but I’m not sure if the US can do better than that.

The most interesting part of this story isn’t that the pipe bomber is MAGA. That was blatantly obvious. What should interest folks is that the FBI and DoJ hid that fact from you, and still haven’t made a statement. This info is coming from sources on the condition of anonymity.

Sort of nuts how commentators are making arguments for Texas in the CFP. Dude, they lost to Florida and saying “we shouldn’t have scheduled OSU” is not an excuse for losing to Florida.
Doesn’t this mean Michigan is in the. If it loses to OSU tomorrow then. We only lost to Oklahoma and USC then.

In normal democracy terms, we've in bad shape and things are getting worse.
In consolidated authoritarianism terms, we're doing pretty well, as the regime is haphazard, meeting resistance, and growing increasingly unpopular.

It is good to see the pushback on Trump lead to real losses for him. But it's hard to be optimistic when he still wields the enormous power of the presidency. ICE is still rampaging, HHS is harming people, the U.S. may be about to sell out Ukraine, the boat strikes...he's still doing so much damage.

Contact your representative or the White House to get this injustice fixed. I’m all for equal pricing—*if SNAP beneficiaries can access their benefits*. If the government isn’t providing SNAP benefits, then they shouldn’t be telling private retailers that they can’t step in & help.

The USDA sent an email to grocery stores telling them they are prohibited from offering special discounts to customers affected by the SNAP funding lapse.
I'm aware of at least 2 stores that had offered struggling customers a discount, then withdrew it after receiving this email
