While obviously this reflects a real shift that's happening, as a data person, I'm not a fan of calling this a 23-point shift when the data points are from 2 different metrics: vote share vs. approval rating, which don't measure the same thing!
Enten: "Trump's base with non-college voters is absolutely collapsing ... he's underwater by 9 points. That's a 23 point switcheroo."

I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.

This has pissed me off for 10 years. Trump defenders try to diminish his unfitness as "personality" or "mean tweets". But it is about lacking a sense of right and wrong. And Trump's complete lack of conscience leads to his epic corruption, constant lies, willingness to cheat, abuse of power, etc.
GOP Rep. Salazar won't criticize Trump calling a woman reporter "piggy" -- "President Trump is a very different type of politician. But I always say I look at his policies and not his personality. Nobody is perfect."
