Red alert! 🚨 KRISTAN HIGGINS LIKED MY BOOK! “Bald-Faced Liar by Victoria Helen Stone sounds dark and scary, but the wonderful thing is, it’s not. The narrator’s voice is nothing short of joyful, exuberant at times.” Eeee! This was definitely the most fun I’ve had writing a bloody suspense. 😉

My mom's been ill (she had a mild stroke in Sept) so I'm in charge of Thanksgiving. Don't think it's gonna happen. My younger daughter is sick too. Older daughter is visiting from Cal Poly. Looks like she's tapped for service.

I started a book by Freida McFadden, who is a brain injury doctor in addition to bestselling author, and I've been wondering ever since if there is a brain science to writing books.
