I guess I do think if you participated in the arrest of a five-year-old you are probably just fundamentally incompatible with society. That you are not a safe person for humanity to be around, generally

I'm going to become the joker.
Per YouGov this week:

🟥44% think transphobia is a "major problem" among Republicans
🟦34% think "transgender ideology" is a "major problem" among Democrats

Americans list transphobia second among "major problems" for Republicans, behind "hostility towards immigrants" (47%)

amazing to me that the folks who led us into this pit have the gall to call any idea that's not theirs politically lethal but there you have it.
ICE may be shooting people in the face, sending people to concentration camps, and illegally occupying our cities but, apparently, the Democrats think saying, "abolish ICE" is "emotional" and politically "lethal."

For reasons that will soon become clear I'm not really who this is directed at but this was one of the first things in my memory that registered as gender dysphoria.

Another way of putting it is I hated it so much I transitioned.

AOC: I want everybody to understand that the cuts to your health care are what’s paying for this. You get screwed over to pay a bunch of thugs in the street that are shooting mothers in the face.

This is my friend Jessie. She's amazing and a sweetheart to organize alongside. Saw a lot of comments asking how she is. She was released same day. We hope to have more soon. Media contacts can get in touch with [email protected]

Not our first problems with GRPD to be sure....

People being like, "But Venezuelans are happy about Maduro being gone!" have the memories of goldfish. IN 2003, the narrative was that Iraqis celebrated the U.S. invasion and capture of Saddam.

Whether they were happy or not, invading Iraq was still the wrong thing to do.

Trans News Network has a policy against platforming bigotry. As such, we have declined to publish the Times' statement which included blatant transphobia.

Rough vibes on this website today, likely because people feel Hopeless and Helpless Because Can't Stop It and No One Who Is Supposed To Is Trying To So Now We're Fighting Each Other™. I recommend activities such as book, or potentially instrument if you like instrument, or even do talk on phone.

An underrated part of why I don't want AOC to run for president is I want her to be speaker of the house and draw eyes there through her force of personality. Policy should come from congress and not the executive.
One way to describe the collapse of American democracy is to say the Presidency and Supreme Court have taken all the power.

Another way to describe the same problem is to say Congress is supposed to be the most powerful and representative branch of government, and it’s failing on both fronts.

Serious thing for folks to consider is, particularly for marginalized people, Grudges Are Self-Defense. What you may be interpreting as pettiness is probably closer aligned to "You have demonstrated you're not to be trusted." And knowing who REALLY has your back is more important that ever.
I feel in my bones that the wave has started to crash back in and Certain People/Companies who thought they were safe to abandon everyone they’d been pretending to care about will suddenly realize that those people have money/power and I, for one, will be holding a grudge until the end of time 💜
