Another layer: when your data is accessed by SSA employees through the normal, legal means, there's a record. The agency knows what data was accessed and by whom. The reason they don't know in this case is because unvetted DOGE employees were granted access to raw data with no tracking mechanism.
‼️‼️‼️There’s a lot in this article that’s extremely concerning, but what sticks out to me is that #SSA leadership is maintaining that they have not been able to determine exactly WHAT data has been compromised. This is flatly unacceptable. Please call your reps/senators and demand a full accounting.
A quote from this article: "The cavalier way in which they're treating this data is honestly quite appalling to me."

I'm running for office because I am NOT cavalier with the public trust, and I put people before personal benefit.

The privatization of government functions in pursuit of corruption

Again, the NYT's frames & headlines of this stuff normalize the lawless authoritarianism over & over. It's not a new "vision" of anything. It's illegal. It's corrupt. It's an end around bypassing Congress. Etc. Stop doing this.
BlackRock, the world’s largest asset manager, has been enlisted to help build Ukraine’s recovery plan. In Kyiv and other European capitals, its role has generated more questions than answers, as the Trump administration steers rebuilding plans toward U.S. business interests.

Montana, Hawaii and Alaska are still available.

No class has ever been named after an individual.

This is important. Networks should give this a lot of air. Only Palestinians have real power to end this war. When they rise up, take control and end Hamas there is nothing left to fight. They need leaders unlike Arafat, Abbas or Hamas who desire conflict to enrich themselves at expense of public.

It’s very discouraging to watch our country slowly re-learn the lessons that led to the end of segregation, among them that people who think they’re racially superior are nearly universally incompetent fools unable to face up to their own deficiencies and putting them in charge is suicide

Once again, I don’t know what anyone has seen in the last two months to suggest that the 2026/28 elections are going to be free, fair, & competitive by any normal standard of 🇺🇸 politics. This is obviously unconstitutional & a massive Article I crisis & yet who will stop it?

Trump just signed an exec order purporting to require a passport (or a few other docs) to register to vote. The president doesn't have the power to override a law passed by Congress. This is the SAVE Act but much worse. It is an illegal power grab that would block tens of millions from voting.

Anyone who decides to do this either misjudges the extent of the blowback they’ll receive or plans to use force on our own citizens to silence it. This is a coup.
Everyone really needs to read this and share it.

DOGE has shot SSA in the knees. Next, they'll say the only answer is to kill it rather than take it to a doctor. That's the plan.
