Network nerd. Hanging out with cats and wonderful people whenever possible.

I've made computers, gizmos, vegetables, coffee, and occasionally some sense.
There's so much wrong with this post. Who decides if a cable is obsolete? I just had to BUY a 75 ohm coax recently. I'm sure I had some around, just couldn't find them. Probably under some books or pottery, maybe being used to hang plants; but quit making generalizations!
Twitter accounts are based in Russia. BlueSky accounts are based in homes with, frankly, too many books, plants, obsolete cables, and pieces of rustic pottery, that could do with a bit of a tidying up, to be honest.

Puttering, trying new things. Spent a half hour trying to figure out what I had done wrong just to find out was a bad USB cable.

Who ships "charging only" USBC cords? :shakes fist:

But I got to the "hello world" stage of fiddling with esp32 pretty quickly

A mom and a pastor shot two fugitives. They were escaped lab monkeys.

More than 90% of Tailscale connections are direct. When they are not, it's usually because of tricky NAT traversal. Here's how we've been improving connectivity, both for us and the greater web. tailscale.com/blog/nat-tra...

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge?

It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

Notes on getting Tailscale working for Kobo Sync:

- Mount the Kobo.
- Rename .kobo/ssh-disabled to .kobo/ssh-enabled.

Still working on the next steps.
