Just leaned back in a chair as a wasp was stinging me, causing it to get stuck in my back. If I lived alone, that would have been it, just living with a permanent wasp in my back.

Did you know your MacBook has a sensor that knows the exact angle of the screen hinge?

It’s not exposed as a public API, but I figured out a way to read it and make it sound like an old wooden door.

Notes on getting Tailscale working for Kobo Sync:

- Mount the Kobo.
- Rename .kobo/ssh-disabled to .kobo/ssh-enabled.

Still working on the next steps.
Building out my pi-based retro gaming laptop, I wanted a better way to turn just the display off and on.

Eventually, I would like this to get called from a GPIO, maybe a hall-effect to see if the lid is closed.

Inside the case of a dead Compaq 286
It's the screen from a first generation iPad and a raspberry pi 5 with a nvme hat, hooked up to a UPS from an alarm system for power.
Waiting on a few parts before its finalized, like a keyboard cable, but my retro gaming laptop project is functional.
