I am struggling to breathe
TRUMP [after spending 5 minutes with Zohran]: surplus value, it’s a very wonderful thing, very wonderful, and they’re stealing it. Can you believe that?

We’re going to be looking very strongly at the bourgeoisie, what they’re up to

An update on my adventures visiting U.S. counties, not that you asked. (Yes, I am aware this is an insane undertaking. You wouldn't be the first to inform me.)

Surely there's a very long German word for "the queasy relief that perhaps should not even be relief which one feels after learning an unspeakable thing which never should have been considered at all is supposedly now no longer being considered."
The Coast Guard reversed its 'swastikas aren't all that bad' policy just hours after the Washpost broke the story.

It's both surprising, and good, to see that one government agency these days is capable of being embarrassed, and changing course quickly.

In reversal, Coast Guard again classifies swastikas, nooses as hate symbols
The new order came hours after The Post reported the service would instead classify such symbols as “potentially divisive” under guidelines set for release next month.

Wandering around the house singing "🎼 Get through your shiiiit/motherfuckerrrr... 🎶" to myself for motivation.

I should be a highly paid self-help guru.

This is awesome. One of my very early paid gigs was to play through the Zork games and send transcripts to Activision.

Yes it was great!

This is so obviously fucking bonkers.

It’s easy to lose sight of it given that we’re all frogs in pots of water getting hotter and hotter … but this is so obviously fucking bonkers.
Exclusive: The U.S. Coast Guard will no longer classify the swastika, nooses and the Confederate flag as hate symbols.

The military service drafted a new policy that classifies them as “potentially divisive.”

One of my favorite interviewers talking with one of my favorite filmmakers. This will work!
I spoke to Rian Johnson about WAKE UP DEAD MAN. He tells the story about how Daniel Craig was almost not Benoit Blanc. How Craig will always play Benoit Blanc in future movies. And he makes a personal plea to an Oscar winning actor to be in Knives Out 4. www.indiewire.com/features/int...

Well gosh you’re welcome. The Hondo story is one of my favorite things that I’ve written for the galaxy far, far away. It’s actually funny! (Or at least I think it is.)
Thank you Jason Fry @jasoncfry.bsky.social for writing "The Guns of Kelrodo-Ai", "Speaking Silently", "Hondo Ohnaka's Not-So-Big Score" and "Last Call at the Zero Angle"!

Star Wars Insider gave me a dream-come-true chance to write for Lucasfilm. Being its books columnist let me interview authors about their craft, which was an amazing apprenticeship. I even wrote fiction about Hondo Ohnaka, Rex and TIE pilots. Forever grateful to have been a part of its fabulous run!

I liked Star Wars Visions Volume 3. Love when SW pushes through its supposed boundaries, giving new creators space to play. Makes this shared universe bigger and richer.
