Charley Girl forever. RIP until we’re together again. 💔
Things I loved about my day: picked up some flowers from the market, gf cacio e pepe, grabbed some wine and got an update on my vines at home! Ran out of my Italian theraflu, but hanging in there 😆❤️

Ate the cutest tomato 🍅 today. It was almost too cute to eat. Almost.

Someone asked me yesterday how can I keep going and keep doing and keep putting myself out there, and the answer is that I make myself believe that the ending is always subject to change. Just because something went poorly the first time doesn’t mean it will go poorly every time.

We really only have one life, and no one knows for how long. One precious life. The comments are even more awful than the article.

This is the most depressing thing I’ve read recently re: relationships. Sad for the women and the men in these relationships.
The Women Quietly Quitting Their Husbands
Rather than deal with the inconveniences of divorce, more and more women over 40 are choosing to just check out.

This dog was spotted politely waiting by a pizza truck. He doesn’t have to say what he wants. They already know his order. It is pizza. 13/10 (IG: lauren.bardini)

My friend told me she always bakes muffins with her leftover cranberry sauce, and I was amazed that had never occurred to me.

So I looked up a recipe for cranberry coffee cake. Will be trying that tomorrow.

30 minute boosted bike ride down the river to a ☕️ and a five hour wander through basilicas and markets home. On the plus side, did stop at the market and get two out of the three veggies that were requested. Plus the world’s largest bell pepper.🫑😆 Buongiorno to meeee. Ready for my long run tomorrow.

I adore all pharmacists, but when I’m on vacation and get off the plane sick, need medications that don’t interact with my regimen and don’t speak the language, I appreciate their patience and help even more.

Special shoutout to pharmacists today! You guys are the best!

After this week, I will be on vacation finally and won’t have to be back at work until mid December.

So close!

Things I loved about this day: junkiest incline miles on the treadmill tonight, leftovers from Friendsgiving so I didn’t have to cook, lighting candles and being cozy in my home, going on walks with friends and their dogs. 💗

Another example: When Chad Boseman was diagnosed with advanced colon cancer, his 5 yr survival was <14%: he died in 2020. Today his 5 yr survival would be >55%. So tragic.

I never imagined that saying hi to people at work was controversial until my current job. Three plus years, and when I say hi to colleagues when I run into them around the hospital, they sometimes literally scowl and sneer at me. Imagine having that big of a stick up your 🍑😆

Why are folks still there? To argue with bots? A waste of precious time while enriching the richest man on Earth.

If you would have told me when I moved here that almost 20 people from my community would cram into my apartment to celebrate friendsgiving tonight, I’m not sure I would have believed you. Grateful for the many beautiful, good people in my life.
