Absolutely Horrid to be there. A good reminder though that some names are only linked by Articles or Subscriptions.

Also, fuck ICE. Just to be straight. We hope good news is on the way.

me reading all you need is kill: I'm losing my mind? The great genius original work everyone is praising amounts to just "wow cool robot"?

the author of all you need is kill: so my entire thought process while writing was just, "wow! cool robot!"

This expert from God Emperor of Dune is (as is the vast majority of Dune) very poignant.

I love how the evil worm dictator has such a scathing analysis of liberalism while in himself being the most evil creature existence has ever known. The irony and nuance is powerful on multiple levels.

Reposting an article I wrote for thanksgiving last year. I’m better as a writer now, but the content is still invaluable.

collective liberation means solidarity with those most harmed

including: solidarity with victim-survivors

it does not matter if the perpetrator was your friend, your idol, a movement hero, someone who's essential to your work or anything else

tell every truth

+ center those harmed always

Only an administration intent on committing war crimes in the present and future would stoop to calling Wounded Knee a "battle" rather than what it truly was: a massacre of over 250 Lakotas, mainly women, children, and the elderly. 1/

Just your periodic reminder that AI uses up a disproportionate amount of natural resources, so talking to the bot that you think is bad to show people who already think it’s bad that it’s bad is probably not what I’d consider a best practice.

2) It is run by trans and nonbinary folks.

What this election proved to us is that our country is fucking sick.

Our country that we live in has been so drunk on capitalism, high on individualism, and strung out on hedonism that it's shown up in our political parties and in our electorate.

my unpopular opinion is that instead of scolding or berating muslims and arabs who don't wanna vote for harris remember that an election is a math problem & youre better off respecting them enough to try and make up the number elsewhere with a non voter. millions out there, go balance the equation

Kendrick literally called his shot with Drake all the way back with TPAB. You ain’t gotta lie (lyrically) is literally the cure for the common Drake. He already wrote about niggas like Drake and provided a pathway for healing.

This is what I wish people would understand. The gains that Black people have made in fighting racism have benefited everyone, especially white women, religious minorities, and nonwhite immigrants. Everything they do to us they will do to you. We’re just first!
It is not lost on the voting bloc of African Americans, the swiftness with which all of the incremental progress that we have won *for all people* through blood, death, organization, protest, civil and uncivil unrest & of course voting, is dashed away in an instant at the whim of white establishment
UNC trustees voted this morning to reallocate the university's $2.3 million DEI budget to campus police.

Budget vice chair: “I think that DEI in a lot of people’s minds is divisiveness, exclusion and indoctrination. We need more unity and togetherness, more dialogue, more diversity of thought.”

This Financial Times article is the best examination of US crash deaths that I've seen in quite a while.

The US is so bad at this: "Even after adjusting for distance driven, US fatality rates remain 2x the rich-world average."

Here's a 🧵 to share insights (paywall).

Why are American roads so dangerous?
Bad driving is probably playing a bigger role in the fatality rate than larger cars and longer journeys
