Wow. Lindsey Halligan made only one error in filing her notice of appearance.

Robert McBride filed as her, and she filed as him.

Why can't Trump's eye candy lawyer tell between a man and a woman?

Please take the time to know about this case. This is a little boy.
I would not be surprised if they have lost him.
He needs to be located & reunited w/ his family.
It’s been two weeks since ICE took Yuanxin Zheng from his father. He is six years old. He’s still not home. This has to end.

Threatening to seize the oil of other countries is Trump's perpetual wet dream.

Donald Trump’s Odd Fixation on Seizing Middle Eastern Oil Fields | National Review
Trump has in recent years repeatedly endorsed the bizarre, bellicose fantasy that the U.S. could and should seize oil fields in Iraq and Libya.

Same. What’s with the ”war”?
From what I see, it’s the struggle to
1) Distract us from Epstein,
2) Distract us from ICE brutality, &
3) Wag the dog. Because if all else fails, create a ‘real‘ war.

Noteworthy that the two guys behind Trump were mediocre musicians who became famous in the 70s by putting on makeup, high heels, and one piece jump suits…while writing seductive love letters to their largely young, male fans.

Read this. Words matter.
As a military officer I am going to keep saying this---please stop framing this as "war crimes". There is no war here. We are not at war with a handful of drug runners off the coast of Venezuela. It's a extrajudicial killing. Calling it a "war crime" gives it legitimacy it does not have.

I’m convinced there are teams of “specialists” whose work is solely to hone & promote TFG’s messaging for MSM.

Blaming Biden, Dems, Somalis… it’s a full-time job.
Trump’s too stupid to devise complex schemes.
There are lingering scents of Miller & sulfur.
Let's not forget, there was a BIPARTISAN border bill that Trump killed by pressuring GOP members of Congress -- because he didn't want Biden to have a win.

That said, I agree that Democrats in general have not given immigration problems the weight the public wants.

One of the most odious of those we pay in Congress.
Inhumane. Cruel, for the fun of it.
WELKER: Is there any hard evidence showing this particular boat was headed to the US?

TOM COTTON: That didn't come up in my briefing

WELKER: Are you comfortable having the US target a boat that you're not sure is heading to the US?

COTTON: I'm not just comfortable with it -- I want to continue it

***And this suggests to me that we live in an abuse-oriented society…

So I think that’s what I’ve been pondering. To answer the question “How does a cult of abuse end, and what is our part in ending it?” I ask “What should our boundaries be, and how should we redraw them?”**

**[When] a cult reaches a critical mass, to such a degree that it… informs societal beliefs & permissions, & captures the political apparatus, I would argue that the cult has become culture.
…I would say we are dealing with…a culture of abuse**1/2

After Bublé’s final number, Pope Leo XIV took the microphone to offer his own brief reflection on the night.

“Tonight, music was like a bridge that leads us to God,” Leo shared, noting that a song can express “the deepest movements of the soul” and lift our spirits even in hard times.

One of the most important things you can do right now is convince family and friends that Trump & Co. threaten the future of everyone they love. It’s not “the same old politics,“ which many people carefully ignore. They’ve got to get involved.
If we can defeat apathy, we can defeat the fascists.

Agree with this thread. Worth reading in full.

25 years ago John Roberts, Brett Kavanaugh, and AC Barrett all worked on GWBush's 2000 Florida recount team. What they're doing now is, if anything, more nakedly partisan.

Fire-breathing dissent by Kagan, with Sotomayor and Jackson.
They're not even trying to appear nonpartisan anymore.
#BREAKING: Over dissents from the three democratic appointees, #SCOTUS puts Texas's new House maps back into effect for (and, presumably, through) the 2026 midterms.

The three Democratic appointees, in an opinion by Justice Kagan, dissent.

I'll post the ruling shortly.
