Thanksgiving across the pond makes me a bit wistful and nostalgic.

I give thanks to my lovely wife, Judit, born & raised in Hungary, who prepares a #Thanksgiving family meal each year with turkey, stuffing, sweet potatoes, cranberries & green beans wrapped in bacon.

This #Thanksgiving, I give thanks for family; my three kids branching out on their own. I give thanks to brave Ukrainians holding the front in Europe against Russian aggression. I give thanks to all those stateside, and around the globe, who continue to fight for democracy. 🕊️

My love and appreciation of classical music began at an early age, as my mom was a concert pianist, piano teacher, and choir director.

The first piece of music I recall hearing as a young child was Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1.

It has stayed with me forever.
