This is INSANE. Jeez.
Omar Cooper Jr.'s insane touchdown catch to put Indiana ahead 27-24 over Penn State may have been what finally broke Gus Johnson.

SOCRATES: No god is a philosopher or seeker after wisdom, for he is wise already; nor does any man who is wise seek after wisdom.

PLATO: Neither do the ignorant seek after wisdom.

I don’t post much on here but I am troubled that they continued to name kids Natrone after Natrone Means entered our lives.

Apologies to other Natrones, but that is the perfect name and they should have retired Natrone after that.
Recapping all the action from last night, from Natrone Brooks' big interception to the Easton Stick-Chris Blair connection that continues to pay dividends

The kars for kids song
Dropped it in a couple of group chats, so why not here (verbatim):

Question: If you could eliminate one song from existence (don't pussy out and pick an artist or genre), what song would it be?

Anyone who thinks the NYC subways are scary does not ride the NYC subways. Or perhaps hasn't since the 1980s (and even then it wasn't as bad as people claimed).
I cannot emphasize enough that the New York City subway is not scary. It’s one of my favorite parts of living here. I grew up in the suburbs having to drive on highways everywhere and that’s way scarier

Every day, we get more evidence that congestion pricing is making car trips faster in Manhattan, making bus travel more reliable, and increasing the use & load factor of our mass transit system. Cannot think of a recent policy that has been so *immediately* successful. www.fox5ny.com/news/has-nyc...
Has NYC congestion pricing worked? MTA releases dramatic new traffic volume numbers
Quicker trips, fewer traffic jams, and shifts in commuting patterns are becoming more apparent. Here's what MTA officials are saying since congestion pricing has been implemented:

It is amazing how well this has worked out so far, by the numbers and also just in terms of what you see at the river crossings and in midtown. No greater proof of how cowed/dorky/incompetent New York Democrats are that none of them can even find it in themselves to take any credit for it.
NEW: There's been a 51-percent drop in injuries an a 55-percent drop in crashes year-over-year within the congestion relief zone in just the first 12 days of the program. nyc.streetsblog.org/2025/01/23/c...

Every subway crime gives rise to a new round of pundits claiming NYC a failed city. Every shooting in states with insane gun laws is met with deafening silence from the same people.

It’s funny that we are all acknowledging that private health care is an absolute bureaucratic nightmare designed to limit treatment at the expense of patients’ lives and lots of people still believe that trans kids are just walking into medical facilities and getting treatment without question.

AOC comes out swinging against a Nancy Mace for targeting Sarah McBride.

"They're doing this so that Nancy Mace can ... fundraise off an email. They're not doing this to protect people. They're endangering women, they're endangering girls of all kinds. And everybody should reject it. It's gross."
