Today, after months of requests, I toured the Broadview ICE Processing Facility. I want to share what I saw.

The facility has no food vendor, no medical care, and detainees have to use toilets in the middle of shared cells. These are in no way suitable conditions to be holding anyone — period.

The Trump Admin warns states will face harsh penalties if they don't comply w/ orders to "immediately undo" efforts to provide SNAP benefits to low-income families. The Admin told the Court of Appeals for the 1st Circuit that states would be "responsible for the consequences" if they don't obey.
In a move that adds to the chaos and uncertainty, Trump administration ordered states to “immediately undo” any actions to provide full food stamp benefits to low-income families.

A Fed court found it was very likely that the Trump-Vance administration broke the law when it failed to fund SNAP benefits from the contingency fund and that its plan to terminate ABAWD waivers early, impacting communities across 17 states, was unlawful.

A surge in callouts among air traffic controllers "is straining staffing levels" at multiple airports across the US — including in the NYC area where 80% of controllers are absent.
