Ironically, this man has just exemplified the collective white panic we're living through right now. The idea that he isn't powerful EVERYWHERE means that something is WRONG, and whichever arena he's in that doesn't perceive him as a VIP must be defective or insufficient.

A lot of anti-immigration people who say “my ancestors came here the legal way” don’t realize that their ancestors came when an open borders policy was in effect.
And most of the people saying that shit are here in this country because their great grandparents showed up on a boat and some guy with a clipboard said, "What's your name? Where are you from? Welcome to America, good fucking luck."
