The UCP: you should be able to fire your MLA, here’s a handy-dandy recall process.

Citizens in 9 Alberta ridings: ok

The UCP: NOT LIKE THAT!

How would an MLA know which constituents vote in a provincial elections? This information is privileged only to Elections Alberta.

Also, any elector can initiate a recall, irrelevant of whether they vote. UCP wrote this law.

Wait WHAT?!?

Dale Nally somehow audited the voting records of Albertans and is using that as a metric for who can initiate recall?

And now all of the applicant statements and member statements have been removed from Elections Alberta?

It is a great idea.
I remember a few years ago there was a project to get some of the Indigenous languages put into web dictionaries that could be used by websites like Google, FB and X.
I don't know what happened to it.

I am sick to death of the maple maga in Alberta. I hate this current AB administration, the divisiveness, the cruelty, not the Canada I know.

I crave peace, stability and tolerance.

Fellow Canadians, we need to speak up now.

It's been interesting to see the responses from UCP MLAs subject to a recall petition.

Some focus on their records. Others argue its undemoractic.

A couple have gone personal. Angela Pitt challenged the principal leading hers, while Dale Nally got his petitioner's voting info.
Dale Nally's recall petitioner says he doesn't listen to constituents and cites his concerns over the notwithstanding clause.

Nally responds by saying the petitioner doesn't vote and works as a proxy for a group weaponizing the recall act and the petition has no merit.

An Examination of Community Laboratory Services (Contract with DynaLIFE) - Office of the Auditor General, Alberta
Examination Overview  In late 2019, Alberta Health Services (AHS) began the process to outsource community laboratory services for the provincial healthcare system. Eight months later, in August 2023, AHS terminated the agreement at the request of DynaLIFE’s owners.  Given the significance … Continued
