Day 5 of 3d modeling something every day until I get bored. Spent way way way too much time today working on this stupid tire tread and I still don't like it. I'm gonna leave it for the time being and focus on something else. anything else

Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your....*attempts to wink at the camera, fails*

Behold, the Roman Dodecahedron Fleshlight! This was the most complicated and least practical silicone pour I've ever done. Never stop making high effort goofs!

Day 4. Deleted yesterday's tire and spent waaaayy too much time working on the wheel. My interpretation is that blank yellow plate is there to keep gunk etc out of the wheel guts. I'm leaning towards making the final 3d print as a Stephen Biesty style cut away hence all the extra detail

Day 3 of the Aeon Flux thing! 90 min in. Spent today's time working on a wheel. I'm not really happy with how those treads are looking. I think I'll switch it up to look a bit more realistic. It'll be off model but who cares.

I originally started this account to post art. Trying to follow through on that. SO, I've created a challenge for myself. Every day(until i get bored or lazy) I'm going to spend 30 min working on a 3d model. First up is this thing. This is the end of day 2. Day 1 was mostly gathering references

Major potato update today! This morning I noticed one of the vines had died back so I dug around a bit and found the tiniest little potatoes. It looks like we're near the end. I need to figure out how I'm going to cook these. Given the size, a simple roast is probably the move

Seeing a propaganda push emphasizing tiny incidents like the one police chief getting someone they knew out of an ICE stop to give the false impression cops are against ICE.

This is often burying news like SPD and LAPD announcing they won't enforce bans on ICE going masked. Cops remain pro-ICE.

If you see this, don't participate. It's a rigged study by Lisa Littman and unethical researcher J. Michael Bailey meant to undermine access to care. Spread the word.

an incredibly timid and myopic take from jacobin. wow
Expanding gun ownership in response to ICE’s horrific violence is not a path toward safety or liberation, argues epidemiologist Rachel Hoopsick.

It is a path to more death, more political weakness, and deeper entrenchment of the very forces the Left opposes.

I still think the best thing to do with all of this nonconvertible empty office space is to just rent it out for pennies as artist lofts, workshops, etc. you'd make downtown vastly more lively and you'd massively support the arts, which largely have been squeezed out of existence in cities
Downtown Seattle Office Tower

2019: 5% vacancy, sold for $286M
2025: 33% vacant, sold for $84M

That’s a -$202M hit

And no, this can’t be converted to housing (layout, cost, ROI, etc). This is marketed as Class A office.

Downtown Seattle is still in trouble
