There was a time when I would have watched the Sunday shows to get information about what was happening. They are useless now that the hosts just allow the guests a platform to lie to us all without any follow up questions.

I was in a hotel last night at the border so I had US TV. My pup woke me up at about 1 am and he was just sitting staring at me. Not out, not food, just staring. So I pulled him into bed and turned on the TV and saw it unfold live, after months without live TV

It’s the single worst jab I’ve ever had to get (twice) but totally worth it
The most pernicious thing about this particular set of talking points is that it completely glosses over the fact that this proposal will almost certainly do away with the protection for consumers with pre-existing conditions.
Cassidy: "If she goes and gets 2 types of shampoo & one is a dollar cheaper, she'll get the cheaper one & the other lowers their price. Once you give her the power of making the decision, she's gonna shop -- that begins to save her money and squeezes waste out of the healthcare system."

@schumer.senate.gov Please do not cave and vote yes on any bill that reopens the government without ACA subsidy extensions. A promise you vote on them later is not good enough.

It’s been 10 years and I am still quietly chuckling about the belated outrage of the entitled friend who ate 5 slices of my high fiber bread without reading the label on the bag.
