“Do you believe in fate?” asks Senjuro, The Black Demon, to all those who cross his path. Victim or guide. A masterless, mixed-race samurai, Senjuro skulks through the shadows of an evolving feudal Japan, seeking to serve...but the age of the Samurai flickers on the winds of modernization, and any work to be had is less than honorable. That is until Claire, a wealthy British explorer and anthropologist, swings through the tavern doors seeking aid from the man whose reputation precedes him; the one they call The Black Demon. Her family has just been monstrously slain and exsanguinated, and signs point to perpetrators beyond human. Along with Claire and her Sikh companion Jangveer, Senjuro the Black Demon must face hell on earth to deliver their reckoning, and in the process, find the honor he so desperately seeks. From the singular mind of Ibrahim Moustafa, who turned time inside out in RETROACTIVE, reimagined The Count of Monte Cristo as a sci-fi epic in COUNT, and put the Western back in Space Western with CYN, comes a thriller that combines worlds have been long-destined to meet, but will collide for the first time within these pages. Accompanied by an image of our samurai, Claire, and Jangveer in Sikh armor standing at a portcullis with fang-like spikes, dripping with blood.

It almost makes you wonder what would happen if Charlotte police treated off duty ICE agents the same way-faces covered with masks, dragging them out of their cars, breaking windows, throwing them to the ground and arresting them while they screamed “I’m a citizen”

Yep. Terrance Moses in Kenton who runs a nonprofit doing camp cleanup says a lot of it is construction junk from folks who charged their customers for hauling. Cleanups are better than sweeps.

Like, this is a damning indictment against every NIMBY in Portland, OR & Vancouver, WA attributing our trash problem with encampments.

Our unhoused neighbors are being blamed for the illegal dumping of housed people, because housed people don’t want to pay to dispose of their garbage properly. 👇🏾
KATU 2 ABC: "There was a guy driving some big semi-truck, like a moving semi-truck, and there was a guy in the back of it and was rolling down the street, and he just starting throwing stuff out," said Held. KATU 2 ABC: "Used mattresses, refrigerators, microwaves, building supplies; those are not items being used and disposed of by the unhoused," said Moscow. "Those are items that are being dumped by the housed, by construction companies, and by other people who want to avoid doing things the right way." And Moscow says therein lies the problem. Doing the right thing is too expensive, and doing the wrong thing is too easy. "It is getting worse because people know that they can do it with impunity," said Moscow. "They can do it, and they know they're not going to get caught. And when you know you're not going to get caught, this is the result." KATU 2 ABC: Juan Garcia is a crew supervisor for Metro's RID Patrol, which tackles illegal dumping on public property. It's a problem that spiked during the pandemic, particularly near homeless camps. Metro says in 2019, they got an average of 375 reports a month. In 2021, that number jumped up to 779.

In 1999, a woman named Jessica Gonzales sought and obtained an order of protection against her physically abusive husband ("AH"), who had repeatedly threatened to kill her and their three children. The order included language specifically limiting when and where AH was allowed to see the children.

Tired of people trying to say we need to be nice to the Dems that constantly rollover and focus on Trump. We are trying but those Dems have taken advantage of a system that’s made it so they are the tip of our movement and energy. They are purposely redirecting that energy to help the opposition.
