Don't let up. Please contact Reps, Senators and leaders in Congress. My Rep went from no position, this morning, to issuing a statement strongly against funding DHS and supporting impeachment of Noem. I sent him a note of thanks for taking a strong position.
can't help but worry that the fury of Washington lawmakers will fade with Bovino getting sent to the back office at the Christmas Adventurers Club, but as of this evening there was no movement

No off-ramp in sight for DHS-fueled shutdown
Republicans are dangling options that would avoid having to change a massive spending bill. Democrats aren’t biting.

“The nation’s mayors call for immediate intervention by national leaders to de-escalate the situation in Minnesota. This is not a partisan issue, it is an issue of national concern that demands statesmanship and leadership. This status quo is unacceptable.”

Dear Media: people who vote for Donald Trump, especially after Jan 6, do not actually care about “following our nation’s laws.”

They’re just authoritarians.
Laws are to be used on the people they don’t like. History backs this up pretty hard.

Hope this clears things up a bit.

I was a sensitive kid. I loved cats. I had OCD, undiagnosed.

When I was 9, a fraternity brother tortured a cat to death in my hometown. The details even now are beyond imagination. archive.is/xdmUL

I was traumatized for years from reading the news story.

The torturer? Now the head of the NRA.

the fact that the NRA is offering even this incredibly mild level of resistance is significant.

People do not like what they are seeing.

When reading the physician's sworn statement under penalty of perjury on shocking denial of medical care to Alex Pretti ⬇️

Remember Kristi Noem's statement earlier today: "Medics were on the scene immediately and attempted to deliver medical aid to the subject."
WOW on Pretti's denial of medical treatment

"I informed the ICE agents that I am a physician, and I asked to
assess the victim.

At first, the ICE agents wouldn't let me through. ... But none of the ICE agents who were near the victim were performing CPR, ... None of the agents were helping him."

FBI agents are notoriously tight-lipped and media-shy. The fact that they’re coming forward in scores to raise the alarm about Patel’s horrible leadership should scare the hell out of all of us.

Data centers are booming. So will Texans pay more for our electricity and water?
Data centers already strain the electric grid, and new analysis shows that our water systems aren't ready. Will Texas let itself be overwhelmed?
