It’s SO much fucking worse. But talking about just makes people go, lol no you’re exaggerating.

Fuck, I wish I was. 😤
Not a judgment and IDK how you overcome it but...it's striking that every time a fresh national news story drops about ICE in the Twin Cities (ProPublica today), a lot of people respond with "Wow, I didn't realize it was that bad" and everyone in MN goes "Yes and it's a hundred times worse"

not *quite* the same, but was having an adjacent reaction to the news about the democratic win in TX— not cuz I don’t think it should be celebrated, which it absolutely should, but because people oughta remember TX voted Dem for a long time and only slid Repub in 1980— it’s achievable
I have really had it with people just kneejerk reacting “Oh? What’s that gonna do?” to every legal win. There’s no question that the legal wins are not doing what they need to do and there’s no question the Trump regime is not committed to the law, but they do follow it to some level.
This is the direct result of a judicial order. Law isn’t magic but it can be powerful stuff.

I posted this one sentence because I, and I bet many of you too, am extremely emotional about Liam and his dad’s return. But he’s just one little boy who we could see. And if I think too long about all the others we don’t see, I get emotional in a different way.

Win the battle. Fight the war.

oh, cool, more homophobia passed as satire— the closet was made by straight people refusing to allow us to love openly, so nah, man, this doesn’t gimme the teeheehees*

*also, Grindr? heteros are the folks who haven’t moved past Grindr, you want me to believe a Faggot wrote this? Sniffies, bb

Trump needs to be held accountable, without question— but what Clinton did was not a blowjob, it was assault

Trump is guilty of far worse, but does not absolve the Clinton’s assault of Monica Lewinsky

so no, ma’am, we aren’t doing this soft pedaling.

all rapists should be taken to task.
It mind boggles me how Bill Clinton, a blowjob, and then perjurying himself got him impeached.

But Trump having raped and assaulted underage girls, including all the corrupt shit in office...nothing.

Republicans have absolutely NO moral compass if they protect this pedo president from impeachment.

I cannot overstate the damage this type of stuff (and less so, but also crucial— earlier incarnation of calling a penis a “ding dong” or a vagina a “hoo ha”)

as a former educator, the stories of students experiencing assault and not having the vocabulary to express themselves are too common
Elites have been doing sex crimes while forcing the rest of us to say "grape" and "unalive" to avoid having our posts taken down

Not being able to accurately describe abuse makes people (especially children) vulnerable to it
Every major website/company now: Yeah if we find out you post or look at a boob we will freeze all your accounts without warning

don’t- when someone is saying they’re having a challenging time, if your instinct is to fuck with them— that’s not kindness

Georgia Fort's is chilling, and it's being overshadowed by the equally chilling arrest of Don Lemon.

A GoFundMe is being set up for Fort. In the meantime, you can support her work directly – without paying massive fundraising platform fees – through her website:

only cringe part was when one of the students was nervous and someone* had a « you’re doing amazing, sweatie! » moment
